The Something mAAgic Foundation’s annual marquee event, WishFlight, offers children with life-threatening medical conditions an unforgettable vacation experience in Orlando, Florida. The children and their families fly from around the globe on American Airlines and American Eagle flights to visit Central Florida’s attractions and stay at Give Kids The World Village®.
This full week of fun begins with celebrations at each child’s departure city airport. The festivities continue throughout the entire journey until resounding chants and cheers announce each child's arrival at the Orlando airport. The next day, a party at Give Kids The World Village is hosted by Something mAAgic for the WishFlight families as well as the 100+ families staying at the Village. Carnival games, enchanting characters, dancing, and entertainment provide plenty of opportunities for the families to create magical memories.
Hundreds of Something mAAgic volunteers, comprised of American Airlines, American Eagle and American Airlines Federal Credit Union employees, their friends and families volunteer to make this an extraordinary experience. WishFlight is all about hope and fun – replacing hospital visits and worries with happiness and an abundance of smiles.
